Drs. D. Robert Kennedy, Ph.D; Ed.D and S. June Kennedy, Ed.D, who hold degrees in Education, Religion, and Theology, have spent many years as university, college and high school educators, administrators, and as a pastoral team. Their education, experience, research and publications cover broad based areas, but always with the underlay on legacy issues. They are co-directors of The Legacy Seminars LLC, through which they offer family life education, mentorships and seminar/workshops presentations on the legacies of life.
The Kennedys have coauthored several books together, but the three most often referenced are Parental Advocacy, Parental Legacy, and Life Maps Legacy, demonstrating their passion for the education of parents, youth and young adults.
The Kennedys are both certified in Prepare Enrich, as marriage and couples facilitators; Survival Skills for Youth, Men and Women, and Survival Skills in the Workplace. They are also certified in several areas of Crisis Intervention and Non-Profit Leadership.
They have traveled worldwide as speakers at conferences, presenting workshops and seminars in family life education and leadership – themes which are dear to them.
The Kennedys are proud of their three sons, their wives and seven grandchildren. Watching the development of their children at various levels, and now their grandchildren, have made them more determined to help parents understand more clearly their roles as to how to be effective advocates for their children.
